Your Devotional message for 22nd July 2021
Scripture:
But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord (2 Corinthians 3:18).
Explanation:
Today is day 22 of 31 days of the Daily Meditation on the theme ‘basking in the Glory of God.’ we will look at moving from former to latter glory in your life or in your church.
Let us now study a few scriptural examples that were written for our admonition:
But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord (2 Corinthians 3:18).
How long, O you sons of men, Will you turn my glory to shame? How long will you love worthlessness and seek falsehood? Selah (Psalms 4:2).
‘Who is left among you who saw this temple in its former glory? And how do you see it now? In comparison with it, is this not in your eyes as nothing? (Haggai 2:3).
‘The glory of this latter temple shall be greater than the former,’ says the Lord of hosts. ‘And in this place, I will give peace,’ says the Lord of hosts.” (Haggai 2:9).
Thanks be to God has Jesus Christ has provided atonement for your deliverance and brought you out of life of shame to glory. I have glorified You on the earth. I have finished the work which You have given Me to do (John 17:4).
I pray that you will not dwell only on former glory and that a greater latter glory will be our portion in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
Glory be to God!
Say I am a carrier of the glory of God. Study and meditate on the Word of God. Pray in the Spirit often. Expect and ask God to manifest His Glory and the Angelic ministration.
Thanks be to God for His glory.
Stay tune as we shall continue further tomorrow. Remain uncommonly blessed.
In the Month of July 2021, do not miss any day as we will be exploring ‘Basking in the glory of God’
Faith Confession for Power:
Thank you, Lord for the Spirit of the Lord is at work in me. Let the sight of the glory of the Lord be as a consuming fire around my life that make my adversaries to flee.
It is written, “And my speech and my preaching will not be with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power” (1 Corinthians 2:4). Behold, I receive the authority and power to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt me. Therefore, I rule over Satan and his cohort of darkness. I operate in the great Power of God for His great works – Healings, miracles and signs and wonders. The word of God is in my mouth like Fire and as I meditate, it permeates to the deep part of my Spirit, soul, and body. I am manifesting the power and the glory of God.
I prosper in my spirit, soul, and body. My life is flourishing in all areas of life as well as my health even as my soul prospers. Prosperity and success are mine in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
