Scripture:
And therefore, I have sworn to the house of Eli that the iniquity of Eli’s house shall not be atoned for by sacrifice or offering forever” (1 Samuel 3:14).
Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 21 of 31 days of the month of March we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘The Lord, the Revealer of the secrets’. –The hidden iniquity.
We continue this subject of ‘The Lord, the Revealer of the secrets’ and today we will meditate on the revelatory power of the Holy Spirit to reveal the hidden iniquity.
There is nothing hidden before God. Just as the Lord can reveal treasures, He can reveal secret things of the heart such as hidden iniquity. Sin is disgusting to God and hidden are deeply rooted in the heart. The children of Eli became vile and invited the judgement of God that led to destruction upon their household due to their iniquity. And therefore, I have sworn to the house of Eli that the iniquity of Eli’s house shall not be atoned for by sacrifice or offering forever” (1 Samuel 3:14).
If you return to the Almighty, you will be built up; You will remove iniquity far from your tents (Job 22:23).
“The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but those things which are revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may do all the words of this law (Deuteronomy 29:29). Is your life bound with iniquity and sin? This is your appointed time for the blood of Jesus to cleanse you.
May you receive the revelation knowledge of God that brings the prosperity of God that will make you distinguished in life in the name of Jesus. We will pray to our God for his protection, provision, guidance, mercy, and grace.
