Scripture:
And of His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace. For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ (John 1:16-17).
Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 21 of 31 days of the month of May we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘The grace of God’ – My grace is sufficient for you.
One of the things that the grace of God will do for you is the ability to endure a temporary state of weakness and be made strong again in Christ. The grace of God The fullness of God is the totality of everything God is – His attributes, His character, His perfection, His power, His love and His holiness and His complete nature. Without grace it is very easy to fall flat like anyone in the World without Christ.
This was the irony of Paul when a messenger of Satan came to buffet him. He said:
Concerning this thing I pleaded with the Lord three times that it might depart from me. And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore, most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong (2 Corinthians 12:8-10).
May you receive the abundance of grace that brings forth healings to your body, deliverance, and the prosperity of your soul so that you will be distinguished in life in the name of Jesus.
