Your Devotional message for 21st march 2022
Scriptures:
And so it was, when they had crossed over, that Elijah said to Elisha, “Ask! What may I do for you, before I am taken away from you?” Elisha said, “Please let a double portion of your spirit be upon me”(2 Kings 2:9).
Elisha, the Prophet was the servant of Elijah and one of the interesting things that he asked his mentor was not a material things like money, chariots, or houses as many would ask today. He asked for something of spiritual verity – a double portion of the spirit upon him. He knew that the Anointing of the Spirit of God upon Elijah would be a destiny changer that would make him fulfil His prophetic destiny like His Master.
In today Daily Meditation, day 21of the 31days of the month of March, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating toour new series the ‘‘The God of Signs and wonders’- In the Ministry of Elisha, the Prophet.
We will examine a fewevents that happened in the Ministry of Elisha, the Prophet for our admonition.
And so it was, when they had crossed over, that Elijah said to Elisha, “Ask! What may I do for you, before I am taken away from you?” Elisha said, “Please let a double portion of your spirit be upon me”(2 Kings 2:9).
Elisha cast salt into water source:
“Then he went out to the source of the water, and cast in the salt there, and said, “Thus says the Lord: ‘I have healed this water; from it there shall be no more death or barrenness” So the water remains healed to this day, according to the word of Elisha which he spoke (2 Kings 21-22).
Elisha fed a hundred men:
“How can I set this before a hundred men?” his servant asked.
But Elisha answered, “Give it to the people to eat. For this is what the Lord says: ‘They will eat and have some left over.’” Then he set it before them, and they ate and had some left over, according to the word of the Lord (2 Kings 4:43-44).
An Ax head floats:
And he went with them.
They went to the Jordan and began to cut down trees. As one of them was cutting down a tree, the iron axhead fell into the water. “Oh no, my lord!” he cried out. “It was borrowed!”The man of God asked, “Where did it fall?” When he showed him the place, Elisha cut a stick and threw it there, and made the iron float (2 Kings 6:4-6).
I pray for you that you may operate in the Spirit and Power of Elijah by Fire in the name of Jesus Christ.

Our Father, thank you for the blood of Jesus Christ of everlasting covenant. I operate in the Higher dimension of the Power of the Holy Spirit. I am more than a conqueror every day of my life.I function in the Powerful name of Jesus with the great grace and Mighty Power of God for His great works – Healings, miracles, signs, and wonders.
It is written, “And my speech and my preaching will not be with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in the demonstration of the Spirit and of power” (1 Corinthians 2:4). Behold, I have the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt me (Luke 10:19). I rule over Satan and his cohort of darkness with the Fire of the Holy Ghost. My life is prospering, flourishing in all areas of life as well as my health even as my soul prospers. Success, wealth, financial abundance and victory are mine in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

1. Thanks be to God forHis presence for signs and wonders.
2. Power of the Holy Spirit overshadow my life for wonders
3. O Lord I pray that I may operate in the Spirit and Power of Elijah by Fire in the name of Jesus Christ.
4. We pray for peace of God to reign in the Nations of Russia and Ukraine threatened by war right now.
