Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 21 of 31 days of the month of December, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘Arise and shine’.
In today’s Daily Meditation we will discuss and meditate on ‘Arise and shine’ – Quenching the rage of darkness. The invisible battle that men go through is real and often many do not take cognizance of them. Darkness is a description of works of the devil consisting of evil and wickedness that operate over the lives of men.
During the afflictions of Job, we learn that Job even accused God of his affliction not knowing that it was the works of devil. The scripture says that He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death and broke their chains in pieces (Psalm 107:14).
You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, Nor of the arrow that flies by day, Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday (Psalm 91:5-6).
The way of the wicked is like darkness; They do not know what makes them stumble (Proverbs 4:19).
May you receive the power and the favour of God that will make you to reign in life in the name of Jesus.
