Your Devotional message for 21st July, 2023.
Scripture:
For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith (1 John 5:4).
Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 21 of the 31 days of the month of June, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our series ‘The Lord, My Divine Helper’-He gives victory.
It amazes many how miracles take place from unseen realm to the physical manifestation by the working mighty hands of God. One of such help that the righteous receive from the Lord is the victory over an unseen devil or demon whose working objectivesare to steel, to kill and destroy. Without the victory through Our Lord Jesus Christ, it would be impossible to use any physical method to fight spiritual affliction.
The scripture says that “For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith” (1 John 5:4).
And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death (Revelation 12:11).
Thanks be to God for victory. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 15:57).
The Psalmist wrote: Oh, sing to the Lord a new song! For He has done marvellous things, His right hand and His holy arm have gained Him the victory (Psalm 98:1).
I pray with you today that as you are reading this daily meditation, may the Lord arise and be your Helper and may He deliver you from all evil works in the name of Jesus.
