Your Devotional message for 21st April 2021
Scripture:
And He said to her, “Daughter, be of good cheer; your faith has made you well. Go in peace.” (Luke 8:48, NKJV)
Explanation:
In today secular society, many holds debates whether God exists or not. This is an unbelief or doubt. This is a big challenge. This is because such practice has serious implication and does not make God less important. For what if some did not believe? Will their unbelief make the faithfulness of God without effect? Certainly not! Indeed, let God be true but every man a liar. As it is written: “That You may be justified in Your words and may overcome when You are judged.”(Romans 3:3-4, NKJV). The currency of the Kingdom of God is faith. You cannot get what you want from God without Faith. Without Faith it is impossible to please God. God operates by Faith so Himself is faith. No wonder why the Scripture repeated this sentence “The just shall live by faith” up to 5 times. But that no one is justified by the law in the sight of God is evident, for “the just shall live by faith.” (Galatians 3:11).
God made a remark about Patriarchs like Abraham and Moses to be faith. Not so with My servant Moses, He is faithful in all My house (Numbers 12:7).
So, what is faith?
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen (Hebrew 11:3, NKJV). By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible (Hebrew 11:4, NKJV). Faith is the response of human Spirit to the Word of God.
But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. (Hebrew 11:6, NKJV). Jesus Christ speaks of faithless, little faith and great faith.
When they brought the man with paralysis to Jesus on a stretcher, when Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, “Son, your sins are forgiven you” (Mark 2:5, NKJV).
When Jesus saw the faith of a certain woman had a flow of blood for twelve years. And He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace and be healed of your affliction”(Mark 5:34, NKJV). You need to build your faith through the Word of God to possess your Divine Health and Healing. To express your faith, surrender your life to Jesus and repent from any known sins.

Confession:
Lord grant me the grace so that the Holy Spirit may bring forth the manifestation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit as the Spirit give permission. The word of God is in my mouth. For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, it is piercing even to the division of my soul and spirit, and of my joints and marrow, and is a discerner of my thoughts and intents of the heart.
I prosper in all my ways and have good success daily, monthly and all years to the Glory of God in the name of Jesus. My body is healthy and strong. I refuse sickness, diseases, and evils of this world. I exercise my dominion over devil and the cohorts of darkness. From today I declare my victory and protection in the name of Jesus.
