The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, But fools despise wisdom and instruction (Proverbs 1:7).
Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 21 of 29 days of the month of February, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘Fools despise wisdom’.
The Bible gives us clarification between being wise and foolish. This is different from a world perspective where being successful or crafty could be term as being wise. One must be extraordinarily careful not to use such criteria. I have met many wealthy men of the past and lost their wealth. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, But fools despise wisdom and instruction (Proverbs 1:7). For instance, Job spoke this saying:
Biblically King Solomon’s wisdom makes him a wise manis: And God gave Solomon wisdom and exceedingly great understanding, and largeness of heart like the sand on the seashore. Thus, Solomon’s wisdom excelled the wisdom of all the men of the East and all the wisdom of Egypt (1 Kings 4:29-30).
And men of all nations, from all the kings of the earth who had heard of his wisdom, came to hear the wisdom of Solomon (1 Kings 4:34).
May you receive the wisdom of God and the prosperity of God that will make you to succeed in life in the name of Jesus.
Further Scriptures:
Now King Solomon sent and brought Huram from Tyre. He was the son of a widow from the tribe of Naphtali, and his father was a man of Tyre, a bronze worker; he was filled with wisdom and understanding and skill in working with all kinds of bronze work. So, he came to King Solomon and did all his work (1 Kings 7:13-14).
Let us pray today: May you experience the glory of God that brings supernatural manifestation of wisdom, healings, deliverance, signs and wonders in your life, marriage, finance, business, and family in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Glory be to God!
