Your Devotional Message for 20th October

Explanation:
Vision is another similar method of communication from God just like dreams.Biblical prophetic visions are answers to pertinent queries for the edification of the body of Christ. Visions of God are common among Prophets and the Seers.
We will continue today, day 20of the 31 days of this series called ‘The Lord Spoke’.
Today we will gain further understanding of the theme ‘hearing the Voice of God’, more importantlyby visions of God. In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falls upon men, while slumbering on their beds, then He opens the ears of men, and seals their instruction (Job 33:15-16).A vision is a short pictorial or audible message from the spirit of the man. The scriptures highlighted how God spoke to the righteous to give instruction through visions for a future to evolve. Then the Lord answered me and said: “Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it (Habakkuk 2:2).
Most importantly the more you are filled with the Spirit of God, the more like the Spirit of wisdom and revelation to bring insight and revelations about the future.

The experience of Abraham:
After these things the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision, saying, “Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your exceedingly great reward” (Genesis 15:1).
The experience of Moses:
Then He said, “Hear now My words: If there is a prophet among you, I, the Lord, make Myself known to him in a vision; I speak to him in a dream (Numbers 12:6).
The days of Zechariah:
Uzziah was sixteen years old when he became king, and he reigned fifty-two years in Jerusalem. His mother’s name was Jecholiah of Jerusalem. And he did what was right in the sight of the Lord, according to all that his father Amaziah had done. He sought God in the days of Zechariah, who had understanding in the visions of God; and as long as he sought the Lord, God made him prosper (2 Chronicles 26:3-5).
Prophet Ezekiel:
Now it came to pass in the thirtieth year, in the fourth month, on the fifth day of the month, as I was among the captives by the River Chebar, that the heavens were opened, and I saw visions of God (Ezekiel 1:1).

Faith Confession for Grace and Power:

And I declare boldly that I am aglow and strong in the spirit, filled with wisdom of God; and the grace of God is upon me (Luke 2:40). The Holy Spirit is my Senior Teacher and Partner. Lord show me Your glory. I declare that my spiritual ears, eyes,and other spiritual senses are opened to His divine revelations.
It is written, “And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in the demonstration of the Spirit and of power” (1 Corinthians 2:4).Behold, I receive the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt me (Luke 10:19). I operate with the great grace and Mighty Power of God for His great works – Healings, miracles and signs and wonders. The word of God is in my mouth and as I meditate, it permeates to the deep part of my Spirit, soul, and body. I am manifesting the great power of God. I rule over Satan and his cohort of darkness with the Fire of the Holy Ghost. I prosper in my spirit, soul, and body. My life is flourishing in all areas of life as well as my health even as my soul prospers. Success, wealth, financial abundance and victory are mine in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Glory be to God!
