Your Devotional message for 20th December 2022
Scripture:
When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. And He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick, (Matthew 8:16).
Explanation:
Demonic spirits (demons) have been linked so many demonic havocs, evil and wickedness experienced by people. One of the crucial part of deliverance is exorcism by His Exousia ( Power to cast out demon). One of the major lessons from the Ministry of Jesus Christ is the link of the causes of certain infirmity with specific demonic spirit. Jesus Christ thought how to exercise Power and Authority over demonic spirits as he cast out those spirits with His words. Example of those scenarios was in the Gospel: When Jesus saw that the people came running together, He rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to it, “Deaf and dumb spirit, I command you, come out of him and enter him no more!” (Mark 9:25).
May the Lord grant you mercy and victory over every evil works .
In today Daily Meditation, day 20 of the 31 days of the month of December, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our new series ‘Our God, the great Deliverer’.
When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. And He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying: “He Himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses” (Matthew 8:16-18).
Jesus Christ gave Power to His disciples over unclean spirits:
And when He had called His twelve disciples to Him, He gave them power over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease (Matthew 10:1).
Jesus Christ gave instruction to His disciples to cast out demons:
Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give (Matthew 10:8).

And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover (Mark 16:17-18).
As we journey through the month of December, you will be victorious no mater come your way. I pray that His mercy and grace will preserve you and keep you alive in the name of Jesus.

Prosperity is mine.This month Our God, the Great Deliverer shall manifest His presence in my life. Upon my Zion my deliverance shall manifest and there shall be no carry over of evil or wickedness to 2023 in the name of Jesus. I flourish in all areas of life as well as my health even as my soul prospers. Success, wealth, financial abundance and victory are mine in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
