Your Devotional message for 20th July 2021
Scripture:
How long, O you sons of men, Will you turn my glory to shame? How long will you love worthlessness and seek falsehood? Selah (Psalms 4:2).
Explanation:
Today is day 20 of 31 days of the Daily Meditation on the theme ‘basking in the Glory of God.’ we will look at the ruined glory of man. The glory of God is the nature and what God is. Anywhere the Glory of God is manifested, there is His presence, His fullness, His Power, the Anointing and the blessing. The glory of God in man allows the supernatural manifestations of His acts and works are bound to take place. If there is anything to desperately seek the Lord for is the restoration of the glory of the Lord for this generation. Can the glory of God be ruined in someone life? If the Bible says so, then the answer is Yes.
Let us now study a few scriptural examples that were written for our admonition:
A ruined glory due to evil and wickedness: In some of the text below, this highlights demonic activities such as falsehood, the treacherous dealers and emptier.
How long, O you sons of men, Will you turn my glory to shame? How long will you love worthlessness and seek falsehood? Selah (Psalms 4:2).
There is the sound of wailing shepherds! For their glory is in ruins. There is the sound of roaring lions! For the pride of the Jordan is in ruins (Zechariah 11:3).
“From the ends of the earth we have heard songs: “Glory to the righteous!” But I said, “I am ruined, ruined! Woe to me! The treacherous dealers have dealt treacherously, Indeed, the treacherous dealers have dealt very treacherously.”(Isaiah 24:16).
For the Lord will restore the excellence of Jacob Like the excellence of Israel, For the emptier have emptied them out and ruined their vine branches (Nahum 2:2).
As a punishment for sinful nature:
“The more they increased, the more they sinned against Me; will change their glory into shame (Hosea 4:7).
These scriptures are given to us to recognize when the glory is in a ruin. The sinful nature brings shame and reproach. If you are reading this Daily Meditation and this apply to you, Repentance is the key, ask God for forgiveness and pray earnestly and to ask God to restore your glory. Say I am a carrier of the glory of God. Study and meditate on the Word of God. Pray in the Spirit often. Expect and ask God to manifest His Glory and the Angelic ministration.

Faith Confession for Power:
Thank you, Lord for the Spirit of the Lord is at work in me. Let the sight of the glory of the Lord be as a consuming fire around my life that make my adversaries to flee.
It is written, “And my speech and my preaching will not be with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power” (1 Corinthians 2:4). Behold, I receive the authority and power to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt me. Therefore, I rule over Satan and his cohort of darkness. I operate in the great Power of God for His great works – Healings, miracles and signs and wonders. The word of God is in my mouth like Fire and as I meditate, it permeates to the deep part of my Spirit, soul, and body. I am manifesting the power and the glory of God.
I prosper in my spirit, soul, and body. My life is flourishing in all areas of life as well as my health even as my soul prospers. Prosperity and success are mine in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
