Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 20 of 30 days of the month of June we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘The presence of the Lord’ – Pleasures forevermore.
The God of Heavens is the giver of pleasures as well as fountain of life and light. These eternal virtues are derived in the presence of the Lord. However, the God given pleasures are different and need not be confused with the earthly pleasures that are sinful called pleasures of sins.
How precious is Your lovingkindness, O God! Therefore, the children of men put their trust under the shadow of Your wings. They are abundantly satisfied with the fullness of Your house, and You give them drink from the river of Your pleasures. For with You is the fountain of life; In Your light we see light (Psalm 36:7-9).
You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; at Your right hand are pleasures forevermore (Psalm 16:11).
If they obey and serve Him, They shall spend their days in prosperity, And their years in pleasures (Job 36:11).
Glory be to God.
May you receive the abundance of grace that brings forth healings to your body, deliverance, and the prosperity of your soul so that you will be distinguished in life in the name of Jesus.
