Your Devotional Message for 20th November
Scripture:
And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent (John 17:3).
Explanation:
The two words that are interchangeably used are Everlasting Life or Eternal Life. What is eternal life? Eternal Life is the actual essence of Life of God. Through faith we understand that when you receive salvation, you receive the Holy Spirit, and the actual life of Almighty God lives inside of you. This is a present tense possession, not until you get to Heaven.
We will continue in our Daily Meditation today, day 20 of 30 days of our series called living ‘the Higher spiritual life in Christ Jesus’ in which we have been called.
We will meditate on scriptures that pertain to Eternal Life of God. And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent (John 17:3).God’s Eternal promise is that everyone may come and receive that Life that Adam lost in the Garden of Eden. And this is the promise that He has promised us—eternal life (1John 2:25).For God so loved the world that He gave His onlybegotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life (John 3:16).
One of the major benefits because Jesus Christ came is not only forgiveness of sins through salvation but that you might receive the Life of God through the Eternal Spirit.
A lawyer asked Jesus saying, “Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?”
Jesus said to him that “ ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind,’ and ‘your neighbour as yourself”(Luke 10:27).
To experience the higher manifestations of the life in Christ Jesus, for greater works, healings, deliverance, signs and wonder supernaturally you need to tap into Eternal Life of God.
Examples of the scriptures on eternal life:
And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand (John 10:28).
And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son (1John 5:13).
But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you (Romans 8:11).
Therefore, by faith you must lay hold on eternal life (1Timothy 6:12), appropriate, and affirm that you have Eternal Life.
Have you received Jesus Christ as your Lord and saviour?
Today, let me challenge you that Jesus Christ has paid the price and wants you to be his disciple. If you are yet to receive Christ Jesus, do so today by repenting from all your sins and accept Him as Your Lord and saviour.

Our Father, thank you, for another day. I shall be glad and rejoice in You. Thank you for salvation, divine health, grace and glory, provision, protection, and supernatural ability at work in me. And I declare boldly that I am aglow and strong in the spirit, filled with wisdom of God; and the grace of God is upon me (Luke 2:40). The Holy Spirit is my Senior Partner. I operate in the Higher dimension of the spirit through the Word of God and the Power of the Holy Spirit. I have the glory of God. I declare that my spiritual ears, eyes,and other spiritual senses are exercised for His divine revelations.
It is written, “And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in the demonstration of the Spirit and of power” (1 Corinthians 2:4).Behold, I receive the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt me (Luke 10:19). I operate with the great grace and Mighty Power of God for His great works – Healings, miracles, signs,and wonders. The word of God is in my mouth and as I meditate, it permeates to the deep part of my Spirit, soul, and body. I am manifesting the great power of God. I rule over Satan and his cohort of darkness with the Fire of the Holy Ghost. I prosper in my spirit, soul, and body. My life is flourishing in all areas of life as well as my health even as my soul prospers. Success, wealth, financial abundance and victory are mine in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Glory be to God!
