Your Devotional message for 20th June, 2023.
Scripture:
Then He taught, saying to them, “Is it not written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations’? But you have made it a ‘den of thieves.’ ”(Mark 11:17).
Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 20 of the 30 days of the month of June, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our series ‘The God that answers prayers’ – The House of prayer.
It is not uncommon to see churches today that seem to embark more on teachings and preachings with less time devoted for prayers. Prayer in the house of the Lord can move over nations and brings glory and transformation. During the time of Jesus Christ, he began to drive out those who brought and sold in the temple. Then He taught, saying to them, “Is it not written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations’? But you have made it a ‘den of thieves.’ ”(Mark 11:17).
Obed-Edom the Gittite destiny changed as the Lord blessed him when the ark of the Lord entered His house. Imagine in today’s era, imagine if such an ark entered your house? The same is the case of the power of God dwelling in His fullness in your house and life. Your story might be greater than that of Obed-Edom. The ark of the Lord remained in the house of Obed-Edom the Gittite three months. And the Lord blessed Obed-Edom and all his household (2 Samuel 6:11).
Jesus Christ spoke to His disciples saying that you should pray always: Then He spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not lose heart (Luke 18:1)
May we arise with passion to render pray that can turn darkness into Light over nations in the name of Jesus Christ.

I pray with you today, may you experience a supernatural manifestation of healings, deliverance, signs and wonders in your life, marriage, finance, business, and family in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Glory be to God!
