Scripture:
But thus you shall deal with them: you shall destroy their altars, and break down their sacred pillars, and cut down their wooden images, and burn their carved images with fire (Deuteronomy 7:5)
Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 20 of 30 days of the month of April we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘Our God is a consuming fire’ – Destroy their altars.
For our God is a consuming fire (Hebrews 12:29).
It is the nature of God to wait until people pray and call upon Him before He can intervein on certain affairs on Earth. Similarly, it is the situation concerning invisible or distant altars negatively affecting your life with the agenda to steal, to kill and destroy.
We want to examine a few scriptures that gives us the knowledge of God concerning the demonic altars and the instruction of God that you must destroy those altars. Demonic altars are erected by agents of darkness to support their evil or wicked work. Example is the request of Balaam.
Then Balaam said to Balak, “Build seven altars for me here, and prepare for me here seven bulls and seven rams.”
But thus, you shall deal with them: you shall destroy their altars, and break down their sacred pillars, and cut down their wooden images, and burn their carved images with fire (Deuteronomy 7:5).
And you shall destroy their altars, break their sacred pillars, and burn their wooden images with fire; you shall cut down the carved images of their gods and destroy their names from that place (Deuteronomy 12:3).
May you receive the Fire of God that brings healings to your body, deliverance, and the prosperity of your soul so that you will be distinguished in life in the name of Jesus.

Let us pray today: May you experience the fullness of God that brings supernatural manifestation of wisdom, healings, deliverance, signs and wonders in your life, marriage, finance, business, and family in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Glory be to God!
