Scripture:
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made (John 1: 1-3, NKJV).
Explanation
Yesterday, we discussed in our introduction to the expose on Prosperity in Life Challenge. Prosperity in life is a spiritual right for every believer of Christ. Prosperity is the condition of being successful, living rich, having good health and good fortune. The Creator of Heavens and Earth – God (Yahweh Elohim) desires in the prosperity of your spirit, soul and body and other areas of life as we saw in the scripture, that “Let them shout for joy and be glad, Who favors my righteous cause; And let them say continually, “Let the Lord be magnified, Who has pleasure in the prosperity of His servant” (Psalm 35:27, NKJV). Another key scripture is: “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers” (3 John 2, NKJV). In today’s Daily Meditation, we look at the Word of God as fundamental for Biblical prosperity. This is because God created everything through His Word and by His Holy Spirit. We understood that “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made“ (John 1: 1-3, NKJV). Without the Word that became Jesus Christ in the flesh, nothing was made that was made.
In addition, God will speak to you through His Word – written, revelation, Rhema or prophesy such as He spoke with Abraham after He had initially called him. “After these things, the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision, saying, “Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your exceedingly great reward” (Genesis 15:1). You will need to study and meditate on the Word of God for your prosperity. This is because:
The Word of God is Light:
God is light and in Him is no darkness at all (1 John 1:5). At creation, there was a total darkness. Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light (Genesis 1:3). Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path (Psalm 119:105). Therefore, the solution to any darkness intruding into prosperity is Light of God.
The Word of God is the Truth that unlocks the gate of prosperity. Oh, send out Your light and Your truth! Let them lead me; Let them bring me to Your holy hill And to Your tabernacle (Psalms 43:3).
Other keys for your prosperity are your seed and the Word of your prophets.
Do not let your seed be destroyed by the enemy (Satan): Rebuke the enemy of your seed (Genesis 3:14-15). “While the earth remains, Seedtime and harvest, Cold and heat, Winter and summer, and day and night Shall not cease.” (Genesis 8:22). Life is such that prosperity is product of your seed, without seed, there is no harvest.
The Word of your prophets: This is very crucial in Life. For instance, the Jews were able to complete the building work of the Temple by the Prophesying Haggai the prophet and Zechariah: “So the elders of the Jews built, and they prospered through the prophesying of Haggai the prophet and Zechariah the son of Iddo” (Ezra 6:14, NKJV).
As you study and meditate on the Word of God, the Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation will bring Light to your heart in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
Stay tune as we shall look continue further tomorrow. Remain uncommonly blessed in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
Confession:
O Lord, I pray, please let Your ear be attentive to my prayer as Your servant, and to the prayer of Your servants who desire to fear Your name; and let me prosper this day, I pray, and grant me mercy in the sight of other men who are ordained to help me (Nehemiah 1:11, NKJV). I declare that the word of God is in my mouth and as I meditate, it permeates to the deep part of my Spirit man, soul, and body. It brings forth Light and Truth in my heart. I prosper in my spirit, soul and body and other areas of life as well as health even as my soul prospers in all my ways and I have abundant success daily, monthly and all years to the Glory of God in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Glory be to God
Further Reading scriptures to meditate:
Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness but have the light of life.” (John 8:12).
Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” (Genesis 1:28).
