And Moses said to the people: “Remember this day in which you went out of Egypt, out of the house of bondage; for by strength of hand the Lord brought you out of this place. No leavened bread shall be eaten (Exodus 13:3).
Explanation:
Daily Meditation, day 19 of 31 days of the month of February, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘‘The Power of God’’ – The hand of the Lord.
Our God is a Spirit and does not exist in the Physical form. So what is the hand of the Lord? The hand of the Lord is mighty. It is an extension of His power on this earth. The same hand of the Lord brought the people of Israel from a very bondage of Egyptians.
And Moses said to the people: “Remember this day in which you went out of Egypt, out of the house of bondage; for by strength of hand the Lord brought you out of this place. No leavened bread shall be eaten (Exodus 13:3).
So it shall be, when your son asks you in time to come, saying, ‘What is this?’ that you shall say to him, ‘By strength of hand the Lord brought us out of Egypt, out of the house of bondage (Exodus 13:14).
How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him (Acts 10:38).
And when He had called His twelve disciples to Him, He gave them power over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease (Matthew 10:1).
And with great power the apostles gave witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And great grace was upon them all (Acts 4:33).
