Your Devotional message for 19th September 2022
Scripture:
For our God is a consuming fire (Hebrews 12:29).
Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 19 of the 31 days of the month of October , we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our series ‘‘The Name of the Lord’ – The Consuming Fire.
Today we will explore and meditate on another great name of God – The Consuming Fire.
The scriptures confirmed twice in the Bible in the Old Testament and the Testament respectively that God is a Consuming Fire: For the Lord your God is a consuming fire, a jealous God (Deuteronomy 4:24). For our God is a consuming fire (Hebrews 12:29).
Why is this knowledge much more important than you think? The Baptism of the Spirit is that with the Holy Spirit and Fire (Luke 3:16).
The scripture describes the sight of the glory of God like a consuming fire. The sight of the glory of the Lord was like a consuming fire on the top of the mountain in the eyes of the children of Israel (Exodus 24:17).
The purpose of Fire is to minister, to heal, to cast out demons. The Fire of God purifies and also use to bring judgement on the wicked.
And of the angels He says: “Who makes His angels spirits And His ministers a flame of fire.” (Hebrews 1:7).
Upon the wicked He will rain coals; Fire and brimstone and a burning wind Shall be the portion of their cup (Psalm 11:6).
I pray for you that May God Almighty bless you and make you fruitful and increase your greatness until you become a Battle Axe in the hands of God in the name of Jesus Christ.

Therefore, understand today that the Lord your God is He who goes over before you as a consuming fire. He will destroy them and bring them down before you; so, you shall drive them out and destroy them quickly, as the Lord has said to you (Deuteronomy 9:3).

Thanks be to God for my salvation, divine health, grace, glory, provision, protection, eternal life, healings, and supernatural ability at work in me. I operate in the Higher dimension of the Spirit and Power of God. I am more than a conqueror every day of my life. I function in the Powerful name of Jesus with great grace and Mighty Power of God for His great works – Healings, miracles, signs, and wonders. Infirmity in my body be scattered and be destroyed by Fire. I cast you out. Behold, I take authority over serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt me (Luke 10:19). Prosperity is mine. I flourish in all areas of life as well as my health even as my soul prospers. Success, wealth, financial abundance and victory are mine in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
