Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 19 of the 31 days of the month of June, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our series ‘The great promises of God’ – Divine provision.
In our Today daily meditation, we will explore another great promise of God relating to divine provision onto meet our daily needs. The Lord has revealed Himself in several occasion and the Lord who provide for the needs of His people.
Let us look at examples of these scenarios:
When the Lord instructed to go and offer his son as a sacrificial offering unto God. Abraham obeyed and went to do so:
Then Abraham lifted his eyes and looked, and there behind him was a ram caught in a thicket by its horns. So Abraham went and took the ram, and offered it up for a burnt offering instead of his son. And Abraham called the name of the place, The-Lord-Will-Provide; as it is said to this day, “In the Mount of the Lord it shall be provided” (Genesis 22:13-14).
After crossing the red sea:
And the children of Israel ate manna forty years, until they came to an inhabited land; they ate manna until they came to the border of the land of Canaan (Exodus 16:35).
Peter needed to pay Tax along with his Master:
Nevertheless, lest we offend them, go to the sea, cast in a hook, and take the fish that comes up first. And when you have opened its mouth, you will find a piece of money; take that and give it to them for Me and you.”(Matthew 17:27).
