Scripture:
You have become estranged from Christ, you who attempt to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace (Galatians 5:4).
Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 19 of 31 days of the month of May we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘The grace of God’ – Don’t fall from grace.
And of His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace. For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ (John 1:16-17).
However, Is it possible for a man to have fallen from grace of the Lord?
Yes, this is scriptural as Paul wrote to the Galatians Chapter 5. This is the claim that happen to a man who is debtor to be justified by circumcision of the law, rather than through Christ.
And I testify again to every man who becomes circumcised that he is a debtor to keep the whole law. You have become estranged from Christ, you who attempt to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace. For we through the Spirit eagerly wait for the hope of righteousness by faith. For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but faith working through love (Galatians 5:3-6).
An example of a man who fell short of the grace was Judas Iscariot. (Now this man purchased a field with the wages of iniquity; and falling headlong, he burst open in the middle and all his entrails gushed out. And it became known to all those dwelling in Jerusalem; so that field is called in their own language, Akel Dama, that is, Field of Blood (Acts 1:18-19).
The Lord gives grace. Jesus Christ was not only full of grace and truth, but He came to give us abundance of grace and truth.
May you receive the abundance of grace that brings forth healings to your body, deliverance, and the prosperity of your soul so that you will be distinguished in life in the name of Jesus.
