Your Devotional message for 19th July 2022
Scripture:
And when Paul had laid hands on them, the Holy Spirit came upon them, and they spoke with tongues and prophesied (Acts 19:6).
Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 19 of the 31 days of the month of July, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our series ‘The Anointing’ -The prophetic Anointing.
As disciples of Jesus Christ, it is important to gain understanding on the move of the Holy Spirit with the Prophets.Though, I do not function in the office of the Prophet, but I could see the increasingly need of prophets in churches. Surely the Lord God does nothing unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets (Amos 3:7).
Today we will briefly explore the gift of prophecy, Spirit of prophecy and office of prophets. In fact, the Bible is a compilation of prophetic voices of God. It is incredible to learn that many prophetic ministries raised by God today receive oppositions even by many who did not realise the need. The testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy (Revelation 19:10b). We are in the dispensation of the Holy Spirit nowadays. It is not good to be ignorant of the Ministry of the Holy Spirit and Prophecy. God called people into five folds Ministry through impartation of Anointing and grace. And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers (Ephesians 4:11).
The gift of prophecy:
To another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues (1 Corinthians 12:10).
Spirit of prophecy:
And when Paul had laid hands on them, the Holy Spirit came upon them, and they spoke with tongues and prophesied (Acts 19:6).
Office of prophets:
“Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you; Before you were born, I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations” (Jeremiah 1:5).
Further scriptures on the prophetic Anointing:
I have also spoken by the prophets and have multiplied visions; I have given symbols through the witness of the prophets” (Hosea 12:10).
By a prophet, the Lord brought Israel out of Egypt, and by a prophet he was preserved (Hosea 12:13).
I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s Day, and I heard behind me a loud voice, as of a trumpet (Revelation 1:10)
May you experience the fullness of His Spirit and the blessings and grace in every area of your life in the month of July.

Thanks be to God for my salvation, divine health, grace, glory, provision, protection, eternal life, healings, and supernatural ability at work in me. With the help of the Anointing of God, I operate in the Higher dimension of the Spirit and Power of God. I am more than a conqueror every day of my life.I function in the Powerful name of Jesus with great grace and Mighty Power of God for His great works – Healings, miracles, signs, and wonders. Infirmity in my body be scattered and be destroyed by Fire. I cast you out. Behold, I take authority over serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt me (Luke 10:19). I rule over Satan and his cohort of darkness. I have the Anointing therefore I prosper, I continue prospering, until I become very prosperous. I flourish in all areas of life as well as my health even as my soul prospers. Success, wealth, financial abundance and victory are mine in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
