Your Devotional message for 19th May 2021
Scripture:
Ask of Me, and I will give You the nations for Your inheritance, and the ends of the earth for Your possession (Psalms 2:8)
Explanation:
We have studied that God expected you to speak with Him. Ask of Me, and I will give You the nations for Your inheritance, and the ends of the earth for Your possession (Psalms 2:8). In Jeremiah 33:3, God expect us to call on Him as the Father Who is dependable. “Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know. (Jeremiah 33:3). Jesus Christ also buttressed His disciples that men ought to pray and not faint (Luke 18:1). Prayer is such an act of communication between God and His children.
With regards to prosperity, we will examine the Life of Jabez. What was it about Jabez that made him stand out? In 1 Chronicles 4:9b ‘His mother named him Jabez [which sounds like Hebrew for pain], saying, “I gave birth to him in pain.”’ We do not know all the details of this. Now Jabez was more honorable than his brothers, and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, “Because I bore him in pain.” And Jabez called on the God of Israel saying, “Oh, that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, that Your hand would be with me, and that You would keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain!” So, God granted him what he requested (1 Chronicles 4:9-10, NKJV).
‘Jabez cried out to the God of Israel’. Let us examine other 4 elements of Jabez’ prayers:
Prayer points 1:
‘Oh, that you would bless me’ (a prayer for the blessing of the Lord that make rich and His supernatural favor).
Prayer points 2:
‘enlarge my territory ’ (a prayer for territorial influence )
Prayer points 3:
“Your hand would be with me, and that You would keep me from evil” (a prayer for Anointing)‘
Prayer points 4:
“And keep me from harm so that I will be free from pain’ (a prayer for Protection).
So, God granted him what he requested.
The promise of God to Abraham is sure: I will make you a great nation;
I will bless you and make your name great; And you shall be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you; And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed” (Genesis 12:2-3).
You should refrain from just believing but act on the Word of God by faith. Faith is the currency of the Kingdom of God. To receive prosperity in life, you must access, receive, and take it by faith. You speak the Word without doubt. You must speak that enterprise idea in you or business into existence. As an entrepreneur, begin to see changes in your business and see your finances increasing in respective of the odd. You must Key to these fundamental principles, study, and meditate upon the Word of God.

Confession:
The word of God is in my mouth and as I meditate, it permeates to the deep part of my Spirit man, soul, and body. I obey and serve my God of Heaven, I shall spend my days in prosperity, and my years in pleasures (Job 36:11, NKJV). Then Isaac sowed in that land and reaped in the same year a hundredfold; and the Lord blessed him. The man began to prosper, and continued prospering until he became very prosperous; I prosper in my health even as my soul prospers in all my ways and have good success daily, monthly and all years to the Glory of God in the name of Jesus. I reject sickness and diseases. I bind Spirit of infirmity. I declare that no devil is permitted to attack my body as the Word of God gives me Divine health and healing. From today I declare my victory and protection through the Blood of Jesus in the name of Jesus.
