Your Devotional message for 19th Jan 2021

Scripture:
And I said: “I pray, Lord God of heaven, O great and awesome God, You who keep Your covenant and mercy with those who love You and observe Your commandments” (Nehemiah 1:5).

Explanation:

In today Daily Meditation, day 19 of 31 days we will meditate on the scriptures relating toour new series the Keys for success in 2022’-The power of Mercy.

What is the mercy of God? Mercy is an extension of and expression of love, “an act of kindness, compassion, or favour.”

And I said: “I pray, Lord God of heaven, O great and awesome God, You who keep Your covenant and mercy with those who love You and observe Your commandments” (Nehemiah 1:5).

Joseph is a good example of someone who under the Power of Mercy of God. He was a slave in the Land of Egypt,  promoted to the rank of the Prime Minister and prospered by the Mercy of God. But the Lord was with Joseph and showed him mercy, and He gavehim favour in the sight of the keeper of the prison (Genesis 39:21).

Here are a few of the other scriptures expounding on the mercy of God:

To You, O my Strength, I will sing praises; For God is my defence, My God of mercy (Psalms 59:17).

But I am like a green olive tree in the house of God; I trust in the mercy of God forever and ever (Psalm 52:8).

My God of mercy shall come to meet me; God shall let me see my desire on my enemies (Psalm 59:10).

Are you facing temptation or challenges of life and has been told there is no solution?

Then you need the Mercy of God to work things out for you. “Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need” (Hebrews 4:16).

I pray that God will raise up a voice of Mercy for your prosperity in the name of Jesus Christ.

Have you received Jesus Christ as your Lord and saviour?

Today, let me challenge you that Jesus Christ came for your salvation and to give you freely Eternal life. If you are yet to receive Christ, do so today by repentance from all your sins and confessJesus Christ as Your Lord and saviour.

Glory be to God!

Faith Confession of the Month:

Our Father, thank you, for another new year and a new day. I shall be glad and rejoice in You. Thank you for my salvation, divine health, grace and glory, provision, protection, eternal life, and supernatural ability at work in me. I declare boldly that I am aglow and strong in the spirit, filled with wisdom, knowledge and understanding; and the grace of God is upon me (Luke 2:40). The Holy Spirit is my Senior Partner. I operate in the Higher dimension of the power through the Word of God and the Power of the Holy Spirit. I have victoried every day of my life.

I operate with the great grace and Mighty Power of God for His great works – Healings, miracles, signs, and wonders. The word of God is in my mouth and as I meditate, it permeates to the deep part of my  Spirit, soul, and body. It is written, “And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in the demonstration of the Spirit and of power” (1 Corinthians 2:4). Behold, I receive the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt me (Luke 10:19). I rule over Satan and his cohort of darkness with the Fire of the Holy Ghost. I prosper in my spirit, soul, and body. My life is flourishing in all areas of life as well as my health even as my soul prospers. Success, wealth, financial abundance  and victory  are mine in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

Prayer Points:
1. Thank You Father that You have shown to me and my household Your Mercy

2. Oh Lord, have mercy on me and I desire the anointing for greatness. 3.I shall not struggle to succeed and whatever I lay my hand to do must prosper.
