Your Devotional message for 19th June 2022
Scripture:
When Jesus heard it, He marveled, and said to those who followed, “Assuredly, I say to you, I have not found such great faith, not even in Israel! (Matthew 8:10).
Explanation:
It is amazing that Jesus Christ spoke at different situations of five different levels of faith –faithless, small faith as a mustard seed, little, great faith, have faith in God.
In today Daily Meditation, day 19 of the 30 days of the month of June, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our new series ‘The Realm of Faith’ – The mystery of Great Faith
We will explore the mystery of Great Faithfor life. We have mentioned that one of the necessities of our life is the walk of faith. For we walk by faith, not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7). The case of the Centurion who came to Jesus as He entered Capernaum pleading with Jesus is a good example given as his servant was lying at home paralyzed, dreadfully tormented. The centurion pleaded with Jesus to speak a word and his servant will be healed. When Jesus heard it, He marvelled, and said to those who followed, “Assuredly, I say to you, I have not found such great faith, not even in Israel! (Matthew 8:10).
A few other examples of the scripturesto steer your faith:
A woman of Canaan:
This woman came to Jesus with her daughter severely demon possessed. She came and worshipped Him, saying, “Lord, help me!”
Then Jesus answered and said to her, “O woman, great is your faith! Let it be to you as you desire.” And her daughter was healed from that very hour (Matthew 15:28).
The Woman with the issue of blood for twelve years:
But the woman, fearing and trembling, knowing what had happened to her, came, and fell before Him and told Him the whole truth. And He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace and be healed of your affliction” (Mark 5:33-34).

It is written, “And my speech and my preaching will not be with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in the demonstration of the Spirit and of power” (1 Corinthians 2:4). Behold, I take authority over serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt me (Luke 10:19). I rule over Satan and his cohort of darkness. My life prospers, continued prospering, and I flourish in all areas of life as well as my health even as my soul prospers. Success, wealth, financial abundance and victory are mine in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
