Scripture:
The field is the world, the good seeds are the sons of the kingdom, but the tares are the sons of the wicked one (Matthew 13:38).
Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 18 of 31 days of the month of January, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘Thy Kingdom come’ – Sons of the Kingdom.
In today’s Daily Meditation we will discuss and meditate on the scriptures that relates to our chosen topic for today ‘Sons of the Kingdom.’
As Christians, we are the sons the Kingdom. We are supposed to exhibit the character of Jesus Christ Who is the King of all kings and the Lord of Lords. looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God (Hebrews 12:2).
Jesus Christ was speaking to His audience about the Parable of Tares while in a boat and sat to speak with the multitude on the shore.
He answered and said to them: “He who sows the good seed is the Son of Man. 38 The field is the world, the good seeds are the sons of the kingdom, but the tares are the sons of the wicked one. 39 The enemy who sowed them is the devil, the harvest is the end of the age, and the reapers are the angels. 40 Therefore as the tares are gathered and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of this age. 41 The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and those who practice lawlessness, 42 and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth (Matthew 13:37-42).

Let us pray today: May you experience the glory of God that brings supernatural manifestation of healings, deliverance, signs and wonders in your life, marriage, finance, business, and family in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Glory be to God!
