Your Devotional message for 18th April, 2023.
Scripture:
But showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments (Exodus 20:6).
Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 18 of the 30 days of the month of April, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our series ‘The Love of God’ –The Mercy of God.
There is a reward for those who love God and keep His commandments. The scripture says that Our God shows mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments (Exodus 20:6).The Lord is merciful and gracious, Slow to anger, and abounding in mercy (Psalm 103:8). One of the greatest prayers that were prayed by people in the Bible is seeking God for mercy.
The Blind Bartimaeus:
And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out and say, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” (Mark 10:47).
Daniel’s prayer for mercy:
And I prayed to the Lord my God, and made confession, and said, “O Lord, great and awesome God, who keeps His covenant and mercy with those who love Him, and with those who keep His commandments (Daniel 9:4).
Behold, as the eyes of servants look to the hand of their masters, As the eyes of a maid to the hand of her mistress, So, our eyes look to the Lord our God, Until He has mercy on us (Psalm 123:2). The Father loves His Son and Jesus is an expression of the love of the Father to us.Thanks be to God that He loves us so much that sent Jesus Christ for us that we may have access to His favour and blessing.

May you be a witness of the Power of resurrection. May His glory of the Lord arise over your life, Hisblessing, success, and progress shall be evident in your life in the name of Jesus. Glory be to God.
