Gain prophetic insight
Gain prophetic insight

Your Devotional Message for 17th November

Scripture:
And Jehoshaphat said, “Is there not still a prophet of the Lord here, that we may inquire of Him?”(1 Kings 22:7).

Explanation:

The role of prophet to reveal divine mysteries or utters divinely inspired revelations  and the plan of God for salvation in church today cannot be underestimated. This ability is crucial to gain specific insight, direction, and guidance in spiritual matters.

We will continue in our Daily Meditation today, day 18 of 30 days of our series called living ‘the Higher spiritual life in Christ Jesus’ in which we have been called. We will meditate on scriptures that pertain to how to gain prophet insight. Kings in Israel often depended on Prophet of God for divine mysteries. For instance, Jehoshaphat the king of Judah went down to visit the king of Israel to seek for alliance to war against Syria.

Then the king of Israel gathered the prophets together, about four hundred men, and said to them, “Shall I go against Ramoth Gilead to fight, or shall I refrain?”

So, they said, “Go up, for the Lord will deliver it into the hand of the king.” And Jehoshaphat said, “Is there not still a prophet of the Lord here, that we may inquire of Him?” (1 Kings 22:6-7)

To experience the higher manifestations of the life in Christ Jesus, for greater works, healings, deliverance, signs and wonder supernaturally you need to periodically need to tap into the grace of God with prophetic Ministry.

Examples of other men that gained prophetic insight in the scriptures:

Jesus while healing the paralytic man:

When He saw their faith, He said to him, “Man, your sins are forgiven you”(Luke 5:20)

Daniel’s case:

Then the secret was revealed to Daniel in a night vision. So, Daniel blessed the God of heaven (Daniel 2:19).

David’s case:

So, David inquired of the Lord, saying, “Shall I pursue this troop? Shall I overtake them?” And He answered him, “Pursue, for you shall surely overtake them and without fail recover all” (1 Samuel 30:8).

Have you received Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior?

Today, let me challenge you that Jesus Christ has paid the price and wants you to be his disciple. If you are yet to receive Christ Jesus, do so today by repenting  from all your sins and accept  Him as Your Lord and saviour.

Thanks be to God for His fullness,  grace and His victory. Glory be to God!

In the Month of November 2021, do not miss any day as  we  meditate on ‘Higher Spiritual life in Christ’

Faith Confession of the Month:

Our Father, thank you, for another day. I shall be glad and rejoice in You. Thank you for salvation, divine health, grace and glory, provision, protection, and supernatural ability at work in me. And I declare boldly that I am aglow and strong in the spirit, filled with wisdom of God; and the grace of God is upon me (Luke 2:40). The Holy Spirit is my Senior Partner. I operate in the Higher dimension of the spirit through the Word of God and the Power of the Holy Spirit. I have the  glory of God. I declare that my spiritual ears, eyes, and other spiritual senses are exercised for His divine revelations.

It is written, “And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in the demonstration of the Spirit and of power” (1 Corinthians 2:4). Behold, I receive the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt me (Luke 10:19). I operate with the great grace and Mighty Power of God for His great works – Healings, miracles, signs, and wonders. The word of God is in my mouth and as I meditate, it permeates to the deep part of my  Spirit, soul, and body. I am manifesting the great power of God. I rule over Satan and his cohort of darkness with the Fire of the Holy Ghost. I prosper in my spirit, soul, and body. My life is flourishing in all areas of life as well as my health even as my soul prospers. Success, wealth, financial abundance  and victory  are mine in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Glory be to God!
