Your Devotional message for 18th June 2021
Scripture:
Listen, my beloved brethren: Has God not chosen the poor of this world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom which He promised to those who love Him? (James 2:5)
Explanation:
In today we will explore the Faith, Love, and power as the 3 simultaneously dependent on one another. This is because no matter how faithful and powerful one can be without Love is nothing. Listen, my beloved brethren: Has God not chosen the poor of this world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom which He promised to those who love Him? (James 2:5). And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love (1 Corinthians 13:13). For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but faith working through love (Galatians 5:6).
To operate in the power of God, you must have the love of God in you. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life (John 3:16).
“Therefore, My Father loves Me, because I lay down My life that I may take it again (John 10:17). Faith and Love are essential to be able to move in the Power of God. This is because Jesus Christ summarized the entire Laws under Love. A Lawyer asked Him a question, testing Him, and saying. “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?”
Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets”(Matthew 22:36-40).
Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing (1 Corinthians 13:1-3).
The anointing of the Holy Spirit is indispensable for supernatural works of God. Anointing of the Holy Spirit does the Great Exploits by the Love of God.
Stay tune as we shall continue further tomorrow. Remain uncommonly blessed.
In the Month of June 2021, do not miss any day as we will be exploring ‘Operating in the realm of God’s power.’
Confession:
Thank you, Lord for the Spirit of wisdom, knowledge and understanding at work in me. I operate in the great Power of God for His great works – Healings, miracles and signs and wonders. The word of God is in my mouth and as I meditate, it permeates to the deep part of my Spirit, soul, and body. I am manifesting the power of God. I rule over Satan and his cohort of darkness. I prosper in my spirit, soul, and body. My life is flourishing in other areas of life as well as my health even as my soul prospers in all my ways. Prosperity and success are mine to the Glory of God in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Glory be to God.
Further Reading scriptures to meditate:
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law (Galatians 5:22).
