Your Devotional message for 18th June, 2023.
Scripture:
Then the Lord appeared to Abram and said, “To your descendants I will give this land.” And there he built an altar to the Lord, who had appeared to him (Genesis 12:7).
Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 18 of the 30 days of the month of June, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our series ‘The God that answers prayers’ –Your altar of prayers.
An altar is not just a place of worship but a window of exchange of power. Men would usually build an Altar after an encounter with the Spirit of God. In the Old Testament it seems an order. In that day there will be an altar to the Lord in the midst of the land of Egypt, and a pillar to the Lord at its border (Isaiah 19:19).
Noah and Abraham were examples.
The case of Noah:
Then Noah built an altar to the Lord and took of every clean animal and of every clean bird and offered burnt offerings on the altar.

Today, let me encourage you that Jesus Christ came for your salvation and to give you freely Eternal life. If you are yet to receive Christ, do so today by repentance from all your sins and confess Jesus Christ as Your Lord and saviour.
I pray with you today, may you experience a supernatural manifestation of healings, deliverance, signs and wonders in your life, marriage, finance, business, and family in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Glory be to God!
