Your Devotional message for 18th February 2023
Scripture:
‘I am the Lord your God who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage (Deuteronomy 5:6).
Explanation:
God spoke to Moses that He is the God Who brought the people out of Egypt. Our God is the Lord of Hosts (Yahweh Sabaoth) over the Heavenly hosts – His army, but also the mighty Deliverer. ‘I am the Lord your God who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage (Deuteronomy 5:6).
In the present world, it is possible for someone to be in bondage, without awareness of such. The reason is that most people have lived to believe that life is Physical. This is far from the reality. Bondage can be physical, financial, emotional, or spiritual bondage. Although majority of bondage has physical appearance but may also have spiritual roots.
This is why using physical method alone or demonic scheme to resolve demonic bondage might seem to be a fruitless effort. The Bible says that “even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world (Galatians 4:3).
Thanks be to God for given us Jesus Christ. He (Jesus Christ) has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love (Colossians 1:13).
May His presence bring His deliverance, healings, His glory, His power, His works and Acts, His Word and Peace.
In today Daily Meditation, day 18 of the 28 days of the month of February, we will study and meditate on these scriptures relating to our new series ‘The Lord of Hosts’.

Now it happened in the process of time that the king of Egypt died. Then the children of Israel groaned because of the bondage, and they cried out; and their cry came up to God because of the bondage (Exodus 2:23).
For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.” (Romans 8:15).

And Moses said to the people: “Remember this day in which you went out of Egypt, out of the house of bondage; for by strength of hand the Lord brought you out of this place. No leavened bread shall be eaten (Exodus 13:3).
I pray for you that in this year the Lord shall bring to you revelation of His counsel, favour, mercy, blessing, success, and progress in the name of Jesus. Glory be to God.

I function in the Powerful name of Jesus with great grace and Mighty Power of God for His great works – Healings, miracles, signs, and wonders. Infirmity in my body be scattered and be destroyed by Fire. I cast you out. Behold, I take authority over serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt me (Luke 10:19). Prosperity is mine.
This month Our God, the Great Counsellor shall manifest His glory in your life in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
