Scripture:
For You have broken the yoke of his burden And the staff of his shoulder, The rod of his oppressor, As in the day of Midian (Isaiah 9:4).
Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 17 of the 31 days of the month of June, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our series ‘The great promises of God’ – Favour
In our Today daily meditation, we will explore another great promise of God relating to removal of burden and destroying of yoke by the Anointing of God. For You have broken the yoke of his burden And the staff of his shoulder, The rod of his oppressor, As in the day of Midian (Isaiah 9:4).
The reality of challenges of men is that proportion of life issues are sprung or originated from the spiritual realm. Evil might look physical to you in its manifestation but is spiritual. It may be unwise to resolve evil issue with physical means. Such is demonic burden and yoke. They cannot be removed by physical method but by the Power or the Anointing of the Holy Spirit. It shall come to pass in that day That his burden will be taken away from your shoulder, And his yoke from your neck, And the yoke will be destroyed because of the anointing oil (Isaiah 10:27). For now I will break off his yoke from you, And burst your bonds apart (Nahum 1:13).
I pray with you may you increase in grace and glory in the day of your battle in the name of Jesus Christ.
