Your Devotional message for 17th August 2022
Scripture:
For You have broken the yoke of his burden And the staff of his shoulder, The rod of his oppressor, As in the day of Midian (Isaiah 9:4).
Explanation:
In today’s Daily Meditation, day 17 of the 31 days of the month of July, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our series ‘The exceedingly great promise of God’ – The yoke of the enemy shall be broken.
Today let us explore and meditate on another exceedingly great promise of God to His children or disciples – The yoke of the enemy shall be broken.
Perhaps you are experiencing the yoke of the enemy, understand that that yoke will be broken in the name of Jesus by the Anointing of God. For You have broken the yoke of his burden And the staff of his shoulder, The rod of his oppressor, As in the day of Midian (Isaiah 9:4).
It shall come to pass in that day That his burden will be taken away from your shoulder, And his yoke from your neck, And the yoke will be destroyed because of the anointing oil (Isaiah 10:27). When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. And He cast out the spirits with a word and healed all who were sick (Matthew 8:16).
Jesus Christ said that “The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me, to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the broken-hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed; to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord” (Luke 4:18-19).
The disciples of Jesus Christ during their earthly Ministries demonstrated authority by casting out demons.
Further scriptures on the Anointing for deliverance:
“But on Mount Zion there shall be deliverance, and there shall be holiness; The house of Jacob shall possess their possessions (Obadiah 1:17).
Who delivered us from so great a death, and does deliver us; in whom we trust that He will still deliver us ( 2 Corinthians 1:10).
The Word of God shall visit your life with His revelation in the names of Jesus Christ.

Thanks be to God for my salvation, divine health, grace, glory, provision, protection, eternal life, healings, and supernatural ability at work in me. With the help of the Anointing of God, I operate in the Higher dimension of the Spirit and Power of God. I am more than a conqueror every day of my life. I function in the Powerful name of Jesus with great grace and Mighty Power of God for His great works – Healings, miracles, signs, and wonders. Infirmity in my body will be scattered and be destroyed by Fire. I cast you out. Behold, I take authority over serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt me (Luke 10:19). I rule over Satan and his cohort of darkness. I have the Anointing therefore I prosper, I continue prospering, until I become very prosperous. I flourish in all areas of life as well as my health even as my soul prospers. Success, wealth, financial abundance and victory are mine in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
