Your Devotional message for 17th July 2022
Scripture:
And the angel answered and said to her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you; therefore, also, that Holy One who is to be born will be called the Son of God (Luke 1:35).
Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 17 of the 31 days of the month of July, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our series ‘The Anointing’ – The Ministry of the Spirit.
Today we will look at the Anointing that works greater works through the Ministry of the Spirit. The Holy Spirit and the Word of God are sources of power in us.
The birth and even to the resurrection of Jesus Christ was orchestrated by the Eternal Spirit – The Holy Spirit. It is impossible to operate as a Christian without the Holy Spirit. In the Anointing is the Ministry of the Spirit.
At the conception of Jesus, there was no use of part of Joseph, Mary conceived through the power of the Holy Spirit. And the angel answered and said to her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you; therefore, also, that Holy One who is to be born will be called the Son of God (Luke 1:35).
Further scriptures on the Ministry of the Spirit:
At Baptism of Jesus, while He prayed, the heaven was opened. the Holy Spirit descended on Him. And the Holy Spirit descended in bodily form like a dove upon Him, and a voice came from heaven which said, “You are My beloved Son; in You I am well pleased” (Luke 3:22).
Through the Ministry of the Spirit, Jesus Christ healed all manners of sickness and diseases, deliverance of many from demonic spirits. Then His fame went throughout all Syria; and they brought to Him all sick people who were afflicted with various diseases and torments, and those who were demon-possessed, epileptics, and paralytics; and He healed them (Matthew 4:24).
The Apostles performed miracles, signs and wonders through the power of the Holy Spirit.
And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power (1Corinthians 2:4)
And through the hands of the apostles many signs and wonders were done among the people. And they were all with one accord in Solomon’s Porch (Acts 5:12).
I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s Day, and I heard behind me a loud voice, as of a trumpet (Revelation 1:10)

Thanks be to God for my salvation, divine health, grace, glory, provision, protection, eternal life, healings, and supernatural ability at work in me. With the help of the Anointing of God, I operate in the Higher dimension of the Spirit and Power of God. I am more than a conqueror every day of my life. I function in the Powerful name of Jesus with great grace and Mighty Power of God for His great works – Healings, miracles, signs, and wonders. Infirmity in my body be scattered and be destroyed by Fire. I cast you out. Behold, I take authority over serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt me (Luke 10:19). I rule over Satan and his cohort of darkness. I have the Anointing therefore I prosper, I continue prospering, until I become very prosperous. I flourish in all areas of life as well as my health even as my soul prospers. Success, wealth, financial abundance and victory are mine in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
