Scripture:
If they obey and serve Him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures (Job 36:11, NKJV).
Explanation:
We have discussed 7 Spiritual Laws of prosperity in the last 7 days. We will continue to look at other Laws of prosperity in today Daily Meditation. We highlighted that as physical laws are indisputable like the Law of motion, likewise, are the spiritual laws of God that governs prosperity and wealth creation. These are prevailing and controlling spiritual laws and influence many aspects of our human life and prosperity. The reality of their impact cannot be overlooked because although life appears physical, they are under the opposing Kingdom of God and that of the devil, so Life is spiritual. The Word of God says that “For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace (Romans 8:6, NKJV) .
As Christians, the debate has been around weather we need to obey the Laws of God. The purpose of salvation is redemption from sins because of Laws of God. We are no longer the laws but under grace. Truly we are not under the Law, but grace does not permit us to break the Law of God. For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace. What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? Certainly not! (Romans 6: 13-14, NKJV). For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put My laws in their mind and write them on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people (Hebrews 8:10, NKJV). We have not been given free will not to obey the Truth.
We will discuss more spiritual laws that influence prosperity and wealth.
8.The Law of Obedience
Obedience to God:
Obedience to God is very crucial for success and prosperity. A proportion of verses in the scriptures shows that Obedience is important. Abraham was blessed because of His obedience to the call of God and following His instruction. Then the Lord appeared to him and said: “Do not go down to Egypt; live in the land of which I shall tell you. Dwell in this land, and I will be with you and bless you; for to you and your descendants I give all these lands, and I will perform the oath which I swore to Abraham your father. And I will make your descendants multiply as the stars of heaven; I will give to your descendants all these lands; and in your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed; because Abraham obeyed My voice and kept My charge, My commandments, My statutes, and My laws.” (Genesis 26: 2-5). Likewise, the Lord spoke to Joshua saying:
Only be strong and very courageous, that you may observe to do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you; do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may prosper wherever you go (Joshua 1:7).
If they obey and serve Him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures (Job 36:11, NKJV). King Uzziah was a good example of a King who obeyed God and did what was right in the sight of the Lord. He sought God in the days of Zechariah, who had understanding in the visions of God; and as long as he sought the Lord, God made him prosper (2 Chronicles 26:5). But Peter and the other apostles answered and said: “We ought to obey God rather than men (Acts 5:29).
The fear of God is very important. “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding (Proverbs 9:10).
However, disobedience brings curses, condemnation, and Judgement of God to them who failed to obey the voice of God. For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God? (1 Peter 4:17).
Obedience to rulers and authorities:
Remind them to be subject to rulers and authorities, to obey, to be ready for every good work (Titus 3:1)
Obedience to Parents:
Children, obey your parents in all things, for this is well pleasing to the Lord (Colossians 3:20).
Key to these fundamental principles, study and meditate upon the Word of God.
I will recommend you to read the book called 33 Irrevocable Laws of Wealth Creation written by Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo.
Stay tune as we shall look continue further tomorrow. Remain uncommonly blessed.
Confession:
The word of God is in my mouth and as I meditate, it permeates to the deep part of my Spirit man, soul, and body. I obey and serve my God of Heaven, I shall spend my days in prosperity, and my years in pleasures (Job 36:11, NKJV). Then Isaac sowed in that land, and reaped in the same year a hundredfold; and the Lord blessed him. The man began to prosper, and continued prospering until he became very prosperous; I prosper in my health even as my soul prospers in all my ways and have good success daily, monthly and all years to the Glory of God in the name of Jesus. I reject sickness and diseases. I bind Spirit of infirmity. I declare that no devil is permitted to attack my body as the Word of God gives me Divine health and healing. From today I declare my victory and protection through the Blood of Jesus in the name of Jesus.
