Your Devotional Message for 17th December
Scripture:
Then they were all amazed, so that they questioned among themselves, saying, “What is this? What new doctrine is this? For with authority, He commands even the unclean spirits, and they obey Him”(Mark 1:27).
Explanation:
In Today Daily Meditation, day 17 of 30 days we will do a further expose on our new series called ‘Victory in Christ Jesus’over the demonic spirits.The purpose of this series is to gain and apply the knowledge of the Victory purchased by the Lord Jesus Christ.But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 15:57).
In today Daily Meditation, we will meditate on scriptures on the victory in Christ Jesusover the demonic spirits. By the demonic spirits we also mean demons, falling angels, evil spirits, or unclean spirits. There are hierarchy of these invisible spirits that are responsible for evil and wickedness in the World. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). Jesus Christ gave us the victory over these organized and harmful demonic powers. How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him (Acts 10:38). It’s an amazing scene to see when demons are manifesting and alsowhat the anointing could do as Jesus Christ cast out those demonic spirits.
One occasion, Jesus Christ met a man in the synagogue with an unclean spirit and the spirit cried out saying “Let us alone! What have we to do with You, Jesus of Nazareth? Did You come to destroy us? I know who You are—the Holy One of God!”But Jesus rebuked him, saying, “Be quiet, and come out of him!” (Mark 1:24-25). Then they were all amazed, so that they questioned among themselves, saying, “What is this? What new doctrine is this? For with authority, He commands even the unclean spirits, and they obey Him”(Mark 1:27).

And when He had called His twelve disciples to Him, He gave them power over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease (Matthew 10:1).
And demons also came out of many, crying out and saying, “You are the Christ, the Son of God!” And He, rebuking them, did not allow them to speak, for they knew that He was the Christ (Luke 4:41).
And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death (Revelation 12:11).
Have you received Jesus Christ as your Lord and saviour?
Today, let me challenge you that Jesus Christ has paid the price and wants you to be his disciple. If you are yet to receive Christ, do so today by repenting from all your sins and accept Jesus Christas Your Lord and saviour.

Faith Confession of the Month:
Our Father, thank you, for another day. I shall be glad and rejoice in You. Thank you for salvation, divine health, grace and glory, provision, protection, and supernatural ability at work in me. And I declare boldly that I am aglow and strong in the spirit, filled with wisdom of God; and the grace of God is upon me (Luke 2:40). The Holy Spirit is my Senior Partner. I operate in the Higher dimension of the spirit through the Word of God and the Power of the Holy Spirit. I have victoried every day of my life.
I operate with the great grace and Mighty Power of God for His great works – Healings, miracles, signs, and wonders. The word of God is in my mouth and as I meditate, it permeates to the deep part of my Spirit, soul, and body. I am manifesting the great power of God. It is written, “And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in the demonstration of the Spirit and of power” (1 Corinthians 2:4). Behold, I receive the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt me (Luke 10:19). I rule over Satan and his cohort of darkness with the Fire of the Holy Ghost. I prosper in my spirit, soul, and body. My life is flourishing in all areas of life as well as my health even as my soul prospers. Success, wealth, financial abundance and victory are mine in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Glory be to God!
