Then again, the one having the likeness of a man touched me and strengthened me (Daniel 10:18).
Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 17 of 30 days of the month of June we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘The presence of the Lord’ –
Strength is renewed.
As we study and meditate on the presence of the Lord, in the coming days we will look at the benefits of the presence of the Lord. Impossible situation becomes possible in the presence of the Lord. The presence of the Lord can have diverse manifestation of His ability which cannot be fathom with human reasoning. Through the scriptures we learned through the word of God that strength is renewed in the presence of the Lord.
Daniel set himself to pray and fast for three full weeks. Following which he had an encounter with an Angel of the Lord. Here is Daniel’s experience:
For how can this servant of my lord talk with you, my lord? As for me, no strength remains in me now, nor is any breath left in me.”
Then again, the one having the likeness of a man touched me and strengthened me. And he said, “O man greatly beloved, fear not! Peace be to you; be strong, yes, be strong!” (Daniel 10:17-19).
Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart, all you who hope in the Lord (Psalm 31:24).
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might (Ephesians 6:10).
Glory be to God.
May you receive the abundance of grace that brings forth healings to your body, deliverance, and the prosperity of your soul so that you will be distinguished in life in the name of Jesus.
