Your Devotional message for 17th April, 2023.
Scripture:
For I will look on you favorably and make you fruitful, multiply you and confirm My covenant with you (Leviticus 26:9).
Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 17 of the 30 days of the month of April, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our series ‘The Love of God’ –The favour of God.
The love of God towards us is often accompanied with benefits and such may include the access to the blessing and favour of God. For I will look on you favourably and make you fruitful, multiply you and confirm My covenant with you (Leviticus 26:9).Thanks be to God that He loves us so much that sent Jesus Christ for us that we may have access to His favour and blessing.
In the case of Samuel, the scripture says he found favour with God. And the child Samuel grew in stature, and in favour both with the Lord and men (1 Samuel 2:26).
The scripture says that angel Gabriel was sent to announce the birth of Jesus to His mother Mary.And having come in, the angel said to her, “Rejoice, highly favoured one, the Lord is with you; blessed are you among women!”(Luke 1:28).
“And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and men” (Luke 2:52). The Father loves His Son and Jesus is an expression of the love of the Father to us.

For You, O Lord, will bless the righteous; With favour You will surround him as with a shield (Psalm 5:12).
May you be a witness of the Power of resurrection. May His glory of the Lord arise over your life, Hisblessing, success, and progress shall be evident in your life in the name of Jesus. Glory be to God.
