Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness but have the light of life” (John 8:12).
Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 16 of 31 days of the month of January, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘Thy Kingdom come’ – The Kingdom of God is a Kingdom of light.
In today’s Daily Meditation we will discuss and meditate on the scriptures that relates to our chosen topic for today ‘The Kingdom of God is a Kingdom of light.’
It is not impossible to talk about the Kingdom of God without mentioning that it is a kingdom of light. In contrary the kingdom of evil is the kingdom of darkness.
Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness but have the light of life” (John 8:12).
I have heard of you, that the Spirit of God is in you, and that light and understanding and excellent wisdom are found in you (Daniel 5:14).
I have come as a light into the world, that whoever believes in Me should not abide in darkness (John 12:46).
Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, “Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down (Revelation 12:10).
May you receive the power and the supernatural grace of God that will make you to reign in life in the name of Jesus.
