Scripture:
For You, O Lord, will bless the righteous; With favour You will surround him as with a shield (Psalm 5:12).
Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 16 of the 31 days of the month of June, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our series ‘The great promises of God’ – Favour
In our Today daily meditation, we will explore another great promise of God relating to receive favour. One of the uniqueness to men who were great in the Bible is the receipt of favour from God and men. For You, O Lord, will bless the righteous; With favour You will surround him as with a shield (Psalm 5:12). Favour allows you to receive what you do not qualify for by earthly qualification. The scripture says that “And the child Samuel grew in stature, and in favour both with the Lord and men (1 Samuel 2:26). But the Lord was with Joseph and showed him mercy, and He gave him favour in the sight of the keeper of the prison (Genesis 39:21). May you receive favour today in the name of Jesus. And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and men (Luke 2:52).
I pray with you may you increase in strength in the day of your battle in the name of Jesus Christ.
