Scripture:
But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and forever. Amen. (2 Peter 3:18).
Explanation:
In today, day 16 of 31 days of the Daily Meditation, on this series of the Grace and Mercy of God we will explore the essence of growing in the grace of God and in the knowledge of God. The purpose of this series is ushering us to a deeper study on the knowledge of God’s Grace and Mercy. We have studied the importance of the grace to reign in life, abundance for every good work and through His grace we might become rich. We will examine how to grow in the grace of God.
Here are a few of the other scriptures expounding on the grace of God:
You must grow in the grace by the Word of God:
But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and forever. Amen. (2 Peter 3:18).
Desire the word of God:
Therefore, laying aside all malice, all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and all evil speaking, as newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby, if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is gracious 1 Peter 2: 1-2.
You will grow in grace by reading God’s Word and letting it “dwell in you richly daily:
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord (Colossians 3:16).
Are you facing temptation or challenges of life and has been told there is no solution?
Then you need the grace of God as a gift of His divine ability to work things out for you. “Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need” (Hebrews 4:16).
If you are yet to receive Christ Jesus, do so today and repent from all your sins and make Him the Lord of your life.
Thanks be to God for His fullness, grace and His victory. Glory be to God!
Stay tune as we shall continue further tomorrow. Remain uncommonly blessed.
In the Month of August 2021, do not miss any day as we will be exploring ‘The Grace and Mercy of God’
Faith Confession for Grace and Power:
Our Father, Thank you, for another day. I shall be glad and rejoice in You. Thank you for salvation, divine health, grace and glory, provision, protection, and supernatural enablement. And I declare boldly that I am aglow and strong in the spirit, filled with wisdom of God; and the grace of God is upon me (Luke 2:40). The Holy Spirit is my Senior Teacher and Partner.
It is written, “And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in the demonstration of the Spirit and of power” (1 Corinthians 2:4). Behold, I receive the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt me (Luke 10:19). I operate with the great Power of God for His great works – Healings, miracles and signs and wonders. The word of God is in my mouth and as I meditate, it permeates to the deep part of my Spirit, soul, and body. I am manifesting the great power of God.
I rule over Satan and his cohort of darkness with the Fire of the Holy Ghost. I prosper in my spirit, soul, and body. My life is flourishing in all areas of life as well as my health even as my soul prospers. Success, wealth, abundance and victory are mine in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Glory be to God!
Further Reading scriptures to meditate:
Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands (2 Timothy 1:6).
