Your Devotional message for 16th Jan 2021
Scripture:
“Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints.” (Ephesians 6:18, NKJV).
Explanation:
Thanks be to God as we approach the second half of the month. In today Daily Meditation, day 16 of 31 days we will meditate on the scriptures relating to our new series the Keys for success in 2022’-Praying all prayers and supplication in the Spirit. Another major key for success in life is your ability to spend time and master the art of prayers. As we begin the new year, you must realize that positioning for success is essential.
We will meditate on scriptures that pertain to praying all prayers and supplication.
This is very crucial to access the realm of Power of God, to be equipped as a soldier of Christ, and to combat all the devices of darkness, evil and wickedness that enemies used contrary to God’s will against you and your success.
Jesus Christ spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not lose heart (Luke 18:1). As I learned through the Scripture, Jesus Christ was not only spending time to teach, heal, and deliver but spending time to pray in his closet. He was full of the fullness of God – faith, grace, and the power of the Holy Ghost.
There are different kinds of prayers, but let us examine scriptures on a few that would help with effectiveness of your spiritual life:
The Prayer of thanksgiving:
And Jesus lifted His eyes and said, “Father, I thank You that You have heard Me (John 11:41).
Praying in Tongues:
He who speaks in a tongue edifies himself, but he who prophesies edifies the church
(1 Corinthians 14:4). Spending ample time praying in tongues will edify your spirit and allows direct communication with God in the spirit.
The Prayer of faith:
Prayer of faith is a form of prayer based on faith using the Word of God to pray for a sick by the elders or a believer. And since we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, “I believed and therefore I spoke,” we also believe and therefore speak (2 Corinthians 4:13).
Deliverance and casting out devils (demons):
And when He had called His twelve disciples to Him, He gave them power over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease (Matthew 10:1).
Prayer of intercessions and spiritual warfare:
Therefore, I exhort first that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. (1 Timothy 2:1-3, NKJV).
The Name of Jesus Christ is to be used for this authority:
Therefore, God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name, which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father (Philippians 2:9-11,NKJV).
Finally, engaging in all prayer and supplication along with fasting will release power and blessing of the Lord, the door of favour, prosperity, greatness will be opened and to receive promotion in the name of Jesus

Faith Confession of the Month:
Our Father, thank you, for another new year and a new day. I shall be glad and rejoice in You. Thank you for my salvation, divine health, grace and glory, provision, protection, eternal life,and supernatural ability at work in me. I declare boldly that I am aglow and strong in the spirit, filled with wisdom, knowledge and understanding; and the grace of God is upon me (Luke 2:40). The Holy Spirit is my Senior Partner. I operate in the Higher dimension of the power through the Word of God and the Power of the Holy Spirit. I have victoried every day of my life.
I operate with the great grace and Mighty Power of God for His great works – Healings, miracles, signs, and wonders. The word of God is in my mouth and as I meditate, it permeates to the deep part of my Spirit, soul, and body. It is written, “And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in the demonstration of the Spirit and of power” (1 Corinthians 2:4). Behold, I receive the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt me (Luke 10:19). I rule over Satan and his cohort of darkness with the Fire of the Holy Ghost. I prosper in my spirit, soul, and body. My life is flourishing in all areas of life as well as my health even as my soul prospers. Success, wealth, financial abundance and victory are mine in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

1. Thank You Father forYour precious Holy Spirit and let my prayers and supplications be acceptable in your sight.
2. Lift up your head, O ye gate and door of favour, prosperity, greatness, and promotion be opened in the name of Jesus Christ. 3.Father, release Angels to fight every battle and I have victory over the enemies by the blood of Jesus Christ.
