Your Devotional message for 16th July, 2023.
Scripture:
Surely, He scorns the scornful, but gives grace to the humble (Proverbs 3:22).
Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 16 of the 31 days of the month of June, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our series ‘The Lord, My Divine Helper’-He gives grace.
The grace of God is a free gift from God and you didn’t deserve it before God gives you the grace. He gives grace to the righteous or humble in spirit. Surely, He scorns the scornful, but gives grace to the humble (Proverbs 3:22).The grace of God is the ability to accomplish a given assignment of God.
In the Old Testament, Zechariah prophesied the importance of grace saying:Who are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain! And he shall bring forth the capstone with shouts of “Grace, grace to it!”(Zechariah 4:7).
Noah was a just man and walked with God (Genesis 6:9).But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord(Genesis 6:9).
Do you realise that it takes a total submission before one can call Jesus as the Lord and Saviour. This is what it takes to be born again. That is to be born of water and spirit.
Grace came through our Lord Jesus Christ:
For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ (John 1:17).
I pray with you today that as you are reading this daily meditation, may the Lord arise and be your Helper and may He deliver you from all evil works in the name of Jesus.

I pray with you today, may you experience a supernatural manifestation of healings, deliverance, signs and wonders in your life, marriage, finance, business, and family in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Glory be to God!
