Your Devotional Message for 16th November
Scripture:
Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands (2 Timothy 1:6).
Explanation:
Have you ever imagined a footballer who is gifted at playing football and never bother to attend training, exercise or practise before the game started?
We will continue in our Daily Meditation today, day 16 of 30 days of our series called living ‘the Higher spiritual life in Christ Jesus’ in which we have been called. We will meditate on scriptures that pertain to the gift of the Holy Spirit and Stirring up the gift. Therefore, I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands (2 Timothy 1:6). You are aware that it is the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of God, Who distributes the Gifts to everyone individually as He wills.
What are examples of these Spiritual Gifts?
But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all: for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by the same Spirit, to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills (1 Corinthians 12:7-11).
To experience the higher manifestations of the life in Christ Jesus, for greater works, healings, deliverance, signs and wonder supernaturally you need to stir up the gift of God in you.
How do you stir up the gift inside you?
It is by activating the power inside of you by spiritual exercises or by conditioning your spirit that is the more Holy Spirit is inside of you.
But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit (Jude 1:20).
Have you received Jesus Christ as your Lord and saviour?
Today, let me challenge you that Jesus Christ has paid the price and wants you to be his disciple. If you are yet to receive Christ Jesus, do so today by repenting from all your sins and accept Him as Your Lord and saviour.
Thanks be to God for His fullness, grace and His victory. Glory be to God! In the Month of November 2021, do not miss any day as we meditate on ‘Higher Spiritual life in Christ’
Faith Confession of the Month:
Our Father, thank you, for another day. I shall be glad and rejoice in You. Thank you for salvation, divine health, grace and glory, provision, protection, and supernatural ability at work in me. And I declare boldly that I am aglow and strong in the spirit, filled with wisdom of God; and the grace of God is upon me (Luke 2:40). The Holy Spirit is my Senior Partner. I operate in the Higher dimension of the spirit through the Word of God and the Power of the Holy Spirit. I have the glory of God. I declare that my spiritual ears, eyes, and other spiritual senses are exercised for His divine revelations.
It is written, “And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in the demonstration of the Spirit and of power” (1 Corinthians 2:4). Behold, I receive the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt me (Luke 10:19). I operate with the great grace and Mighty Power of God for His great works – Healings, miracles, signs, and wonders. The word of God is in my mouth and as I meditate, it permeates to the deep part of my Spirit, soul, and body. I am manifesting the great power of God. I rule over Satan and his cohort of darkness with the Fire of the Holy Ghost. I prosper in my spirit, soul, and body. My life is flourishing in all areas of life as well as my health even as my soul prospers. Success, wealth, financial abundance and victory are mine in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Glory be to God!
