Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 16 of 30 days of the month of April we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘Our God is a consuming fire’ – the Fire of God for deliverance.
One of the most understood subjects among Christians is that of deliverance. This is because of the notion that deliverance is only for demonic possession. Let us examine a few scriptures that gives us the knowledge of God concerning His deliverance works daily in the life of people.
One of the contents of Jesus Model prayer for His disciples mentioned about deliverance:
And do not lead us into temptation But deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen (Matthew 6:13).
To grant us that we, Being delivered from the hand of our enemies, Might serve Him without fear (Luke 1:74).
He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.” Surely, He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler
And from the perilous pestilence. He shall cover you with His feathers,
And under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler.
You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, Nor of the arrow that flies by day, Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday (Psalm 91:1-6).
May you receive the Fire of God that brings healings to your body, deliverance, and the prosperity of your soul so that you will be distinguished in life in the name of Jesus.

Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you (Luke 10:19).
Let us pray today: May you experience the fullness of God that brings supernatural manifestation of wisdom, healings, deliverance, signs and wonders in your life, marriage, finance, business, and family in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Glory be to God!
