The application of Healings during Jesus's Ministry part 2

Your Devotional message for 16th April 2021

Scripture:
Then His fame went throughout all Syria; and they brought to Him all sick people who were afflicted with various diseases and torments, and those who were demon-possessed, epileptics, and paralytics; and He healed them (Matthew 4:24, NKJV).
Explanation:
Have you ever observed that in the World today that there are still many diseases of unknown causes and medically unexplained conditions? These are still area of intensive scientific research. it is crucial to accept that science may not be able to provide answers to all life challenges. Why this is a pursuit for science as a way of life by many today, however this notion has its limitation. This is because Life is spiritual. The triune of man – body, soul and spirit are very real for those who could see into the spiritual realm such as the prophets and hear what the Holy Spirit is saying to us. This is because the operation of Spiritual activities controls a significant proportion of our lives and spiritual dimension is more real and often these activities proceed before the physical events. The demonic kingdom for instance is responsible for many evils and wickedness that many people faced in life.
This was my experience over the last years. In 2009, I did not know much about this knowledge as I was Christian channel, I saw Pastor Chris ministering to a man on a wheel under the anointing, transmitting the power of God and the man stood up. I decided to give to God and explored and prayed. Since then, I have witnessed Divine healings of many people through the ministration of the Holy Spirit.
Today let us examine what we can learn from a number of Healings during Jesus’s Ministry, how He healed the sick.
Faith is an important aspect of receiving divine healing of God. Jesus Christ talked about small, and great faith. The case study was the woman with the issue of blood. She said to herself, “If only I may touch His garment, I shall be made well.” But Jesus turned around, and when He saw her and He said, “Be of good cheer, daughter; your faith has made you well.” And the woman was made well from that hour( Matthew 9:21-22, NKJV).

Faith of the Centurion and the Word of Jesus
The case of the Centurion’s servant is a good case of faith. The Centurion came to Jesus Christ pleading with Him, saying, “Lord, my servant is lying at home paralyzed, dreadfully tormented. The centurion answered and said, “Lord, I am not worthy that You should come under my roof. But only speak a word, and my servant will be healed.
The Word of Jesus produced healing for the Centurion’s servant. Then Jesus said to the centurion, “Go your way; and as you have believed, so let it be done for you.” And his servant was healed that same hour (Matthew 8:5-13, NKJV).
.
Many touched Jesus Christ and Power went out from Jesus and Healed them all: And He came down with them and stood on a level place with a crowd of His disciples and a great multitude of people from all Judea and Jerusalem, and from the seacoast of Tyrel and Sidon, who came to hear Him and be healed of their diseases, as well as those who were tormented with unclean spirits. And they were healed. And the whole multitude sought to touch Him, for power went out from Him and healed them all (Luke 6: 17-19, NKJV). This is a flow of anointing that we discussed last few days and the multitude tapped into His anointing.

The touch and spoken word of Jesus Christ: This was the case of the son of the Widow of Nain. When the Lord saw her, He had compassion on her and said to her, “Do not weep.”  Then He came and touched the open coffin, and those who carried him stood still. And He said, “Young man, I say to you, arise.” So, he who was dead sat up and began to speak. And He presented him to his mother (Luke 7:13-15, NKJV).

Jesus Christ cast out demons and healed a demon-possessed Man: This is a case of a demon-possessed Man. When Jesus Christ met this man from the city coming from the tombs.  When he saw Jesus, he cried out, fell before Him, and with a loud voice said, “What have I to do with You, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I beg You, do not torment me!” For He had commanded the unclean spirit to come out of the man. For it had often seized him, and he was kept under guard, bound with chains and shackles; and he broke the bonds and was driven by the demon into the wilderness. I found this interesting that Demons spoke and recognized Jesus’s identity as Son of the Most High God.

A spirit of infirmity
Now He was teaching in one of the synagogues on the Sabbath. And behold, there was a woman who had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years and was bent over and could in no way [raise herself up. But when Jesus saw her, He called her to Him and said to her, “Woman, you are loosed from your infirmity.” And He laid His hands on her, and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God. (Luke 13:10-13, NKJV).
In conclusion Jesus Christ was anointed by the Holy Ghost – He was dependent on the Holy Spirit. Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works (John 14:10). This is what makes Jesus Christ able to do these works.

Stay tune as we shall continue further tomorrow. Remain uncommonly blessed.

Confession:
The word of God is in my mouth. For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, it is piercing even to the division of my soul and spirit, and of my joints and marrow, and is a discerner of my thoughts and intents of the heart.
I prosper in all my ways and have good success daily, monthly and all years to the Glory of God in the name of Jesus. My body is healthy and strong. I refuse sickness, diseases, and evils of this world. I exercise my dominion over devil and the cohorts of darkness. From today I declare my victory and protection in the name of Jesus.

How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him
(Acts 10:38).
