Your Devotional message for 16th July 2022
Scripture:
But we will give ourselves continually to prayer and to the ministry of the word (Acts 6:4).
Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 15 of the 31 days of the month of July, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our series ‘The Anointing’ – The Ministry of the Word.
Yesterday, we dealt with operating in the greater works of God. Today we will look at the Anointing that works greater works through the Ministry of the Word. The book of Genesis chapter 1 explained that at creation there was chaos, the Spirit of God was hovering the deep and as God spoke “Let there be Light and there was Light.” The greater works would be according to the power that works in us. The Holy Spirit and the Word of God are sources of power in us.
The Apostle needed solution on resolving the issue against the complaint against the Hebrews by the Hellenist in the daily distribution. They decided that “But we will give ourselves continually to prayer and to the ministry of the word” (Acts 6:4).
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God (John 1:1-2). Through the Word of God, we know that Jesus Christ gave power and authority to His disciples to do greater works even more than He did. Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you (Luke 10:19). He healed all manners of sickness and diseases, deliverance of many from demonic spirits, performed miracles, signs and wonders through His spoken Word.

For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart (Hebrews 4:12).
But He said, “More than that, blessed are those who hear the word of God and keep it!” (Luke 11:28).
For He whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God does not give the Spirit by measure (John 3:34).

Thanks be to God for my salvation, divine health, grace, glory, provision, protection, eternal life, healings, and supernatural ability at work in me. With the help of the Anointing of God, I operate in the Higher dimension of the Spirit and Power of God. I am more than a conqueror every day of my life. I function in the Powerful name of Jesus with great grace and Mighty Power of God for His great works – Healings, miracles, signs, and wonders. Infirmity in my body be scattered and be destroyed by Fire. I cast you out. Behold, I take authority over serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt me (Luke 10:19). I rule over Satan and his cohort of darkness. I have the Anointing therefore I prosper, I continue prospering, until I become very prosperous. I flourish in all areas of life as well as my health even as my soul prospers. Success, wealth, financial abundance and victory are mine in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
