Scripture:
For he who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God, for no one understands him; however, in the spirit he speaks mysteries (1 Corinthians 14:2).
Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 14 of 31 days of the month of October, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our series ‘The Revealed Mystery of God’’ – By the gift of Tongues and Interpretation.
We continue this subject of the ‘The Revealed Mystery of God’’ – and today we will meditate on the gift of Tongues and Interpretation. Paul enlightened us of different spiritual gifts. To another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues (1Corinthians 12:10).
But this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel: ‘And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your young men shall see visions, Your old men shall dream dreams (Acts 2:16-17). And these signs will follow those who [d]believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; 18 they[e] will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” (Mark 16:17-18).
I pray with you that in this month grace and revelation power of God and His breakthrough shall locate you in the name of Jesus Christ.
