Your Daily Devotional message for 14th October
Scripture: The voice of the Lord is powerful; the voice of the Lord is full of majesty (Psalm 29:4).
Explanation:
We continue today, day 14 of the 31 days of our new series called when ‘The Lord Spoke’. The purpose of this series is ushering you to a deeper study and meditation on hearing the Voice of God. Several scriptures confirm how the word of the Lord came to His people. God has never seized to speak through His Word. Today we will gain further understanding of the theme ‘hearing the Voice of God’, more importantly by the audible voice of the Lord.The voice of the Lord is powerful; the voice of the Lord is full of majesty (Psalm 29:4). The people of Israel had much encounter with God and the audible voice of the Lord. His voice is instructional, and the people were punished because of their disobedience to the voice of the Lord. For the children of Israel walked forty years in the wilderness, till all the people who were men of war, who came out of Egypt, were consumed, because they did not obey the voice of the Lord—to whom the Lord swore that He would not show them the land which the Lord had sworn to their fathers that He would give us, “a land flowing with milk and honey” (Joshua 5:6).

As the nations which the Lord destroys before you, so you shall perish, because you would not be obedient to the voice of the Lord your God (Deuteronomy 8:20).Then the Spirit lifted me up, and I heard behind me a great thunderous voice: “Blessed is the glory of the Lord from His place!” (Ezekiel 3:12).

Lord show me Your glory. I declare that my spiritual ears, eyes,and other spiritual senses are opened to His divine revelations.
It is written, “And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in the demonstration of the Spirit and of power” (1 Corinthians 2:4).Behold, I receive the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt me (Luke 10:19). I operate with the great grace and Mighty Power of God for His great works – Healings, miracles and signs and wonders. The word of God is in my mouth and as I meditate, it permeates to the deep part of my Spirit, soul, and body. I am manifesting the great power of God. I rule over Satan and his cohort of darkness with the Fire of the Holy Ghost. I prosper in my spirit, soul, and body. My life is flourishing in all areas of life as well as my health even as my soul prospers. Success, wealth, financial abundance and victory are mine in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Glory be to God!
