Biblical text:
O Lord, I pray, please let Your ear be attentive to the prayer of Your servant, and to the prayer of Your servants who desire to fear Your name; and let Your servant prosper this day, I pray and grant him mercy in the sight of this man.” For I was the king’s cupbearer (Nehemiah 1:11).
Explanation:
Daily Meditation, day 14 of 31 days of the month of January, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘The God of mercy and favour’ – The Lord grants him mercy.
The God, Almighty is the God of Israel and He can be attentive to your prayer or even prayer for anyone who desire to be granted mercy. Similarly, was the prayer of Nehemiah as he sought mercy to be granted by the Lord.
O Lord, I pray, please let Your ear be attentive to the prayer of Your servant, and to the prayer of Your servants who desire to fear Your name; and let Your servant prosper this day, I pray and grant him mercy in the sight of this man.” For I was the king’s cupbearer (Nehemiah 1:11).
Have mercy upon me, O God, According to Your lovingkindness; According to the multitude of Your tender mercies, Blot out my transgressions (Psalm 51:1).
But as for me, my prayer is to You, O Lord, in the acceptable time; O God, in the multitude of Your mercy, Hear me in the truth of Your salvation (Psalm 69:13).
Let us meditate on these scriptures:
