Your Devotional Message for 14th September 2021
Scripture:
For His anger is but for a moment, His favour is for life; Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning (Psalms 30:5).
Explanation:
Today, day 14 of the 30 days of our Daily Meditation, we will examine how the favour of God is for life. The purpose of this series is ushering you to a deeper study on the knowledge of God’s favour. Whatever God does is made perfect and His favour is for life in contrary to His anger which is but for a moment. For His anger is but for a moment, His favour is for life; Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning (Psalms 30:5).
Here are a few of the other scriptures expounding on the favour of God is a doorway to greatness:
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the Lord Forever (Psalms 23:6).
Remember His covenant forever, the word which He commanded, for a thousand generations (1 Chronicles 16:15).
“And now, O Lord, the word which You have spoken concerning Your servant and concerning his house, let it be established forever, and do as You have said (1 Chronicles 17:23).
Are you facing temptation or challenges of life and has been told there is no solution?
Ask God to show His favour on you and before men.
If you are yet to receive Christ Jesus, do so today and repent from all your sins and make Him the Lord of your life.
Thanks be to God for His fullness, grace and His victory. Glory be to God!
Stay tune as we shall continue further tomorrow. Remain uncommonly blessed.
In the Month of September 2021, do not miss any day as we will be exploring ‘The favour of God’
Faith Confession for Grace and Power:
Our Father, Thank you, for another day. I shall be glad and rejoice in You. Thank you for salvation, divine health, grace and glory, provision, protection, and supernatural enablement. And I declare boldly that I am aglow and strong in the spirit, filled with wisdom of God; and the grace of God is upon me (Luke 2:40). The Holy Spirit is my Senior Teacher and Partner.
It is written, “And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in the demonstration of the Spirit and of power” (1 Corinthians 2:4). Behold, I receive the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt me (Luke 10:19). I operate with the great Power of God for His great works – Healing, miracles and signs and wonders. The word of God is in my mouth and as I meditate, it permeates to the deep part of my Spirit, soul, and body. I am manifesting the great power of God.
I rule over Satan and his cohort of darkness with the Fire of the Holy Ghost. I prosper in my spirit, soul, and body. My life is flourishing in all areas of life as well as my health even as my soul prospers. Success, wealth, abundance and victory are mine in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Glory be to God!
